ISN-GKHA (Atlas): Findings and policy implications for Latin America

  • 4 PM CET

Approximately 850 million people are affected by CKD worldwide. The global burden of kidney failure is significant and is linked to high treatment costs and extensive impacts on the health and well-being of people living with kidney disease. The ISN–Global Kidney Health Atlas (ISN–GKHA) identified significant gaps in access to and quality of care for patients living with kidney disease across ISN regions and World Bank income groups. This webinar explores the organization, structures, and financing of kidney care across countries in Latin America.

Learning objectives:

  • To understand the scope of ISN-GKHA findings in Latin America
  • To understand the extent and existing gaps in provision and access to kidney care across country income groups in Latin America
  • To highlight the policy implications for ISN-GKHA for countries in this region
